Heads up, Creators: On Dec 13-14 you may see a noticeable decrease in your sub count as we remove spam subscriptions. If spam is removed, you'll see a YouTube Studio alert: https://goo.gl/qGDBvX This should help give you confidence that the subs you do have are real fans!

I'm new to YouTube and have a small channel 54 subs 3547 views and 32 videos. Would I be considered spam?

An example of a "spam subscription" would be a fake/artificial channel subscribing to another channel – often times this is the result of spam services that subscribe to a variety of channels to inflate sub count. From what you're describing, no you wouldn't be considered spam :)
