    Sky News happened to be here for the opening of library. Shocking that it didn’t have any books before - but amazing that 14-year-old Miriam Khadir and other kids excluded from mainstream education helped raise the money so they can still have a chance to read.

    When visited our new library before summer, he noted we were missing something very important: books! Since then, we’ve successfully raised enough money to stock the space with a wealth of new texts. Today, we welcomed him back to the grand opening!

    My report tomorrow - latest data shows school exclusions on the rise pre-pandemic and could spike again. Looking at the positives too - teachers taking placements with in Pupil referral units to learn more about the needs of kids at risk of exclusion.
