and Col. Casey Hall for taking me up today and experiencing what a military plane is capable of doing. Also got to learn a lot about what the National Guard does to keep all of our 50 states safe and secure!
People wanna see guys hit it far, it's fun and exciting, fans loves. Pro's hate it when a guy bombs it 350, forty yards off line, and it turns into casual two putt birdie.
I am also not against hitting it far becoming a skill in professional golf, I thinks it's a great skill to have. I just think that there should be some variety in what is required of a professional golfer. And some negative consequence for long tee shots "off the grid"
I don't favor equipment pull backs of any fashion. I think course design needs to get better and imaginative to accentuate more skills needed to compete at a high levels.
Nmbr 9 at The Country Club seems like a perfect design to combat the current distance debate when it comes to protecting traditional golf courses. Adding distances to courses not practical, but creative designs can combat the modern distance increase
Lots of concern about who is leaving, who is staying... what are the punishments for those that leave, can they play both tours?? Should they be allowed??
To me the real issue will be can Liv golf get world ranking points for their events?? That will be the real legal battle to be played out. If they can't for whatever reason, that will likely lead to a slow demise of their efforts to establish themselves long term.
I would expect them to start to have discussions with Euro/Asian tours to "supplement" their current members with world ranking opportunities in the short term.

Perfect opportunity for conferences to establish their own rules, regulations, and governing. Take all athletes, coaches, admin, etc needs into account. And establish their own form of a national playoff system for each sport.
If you really wanna get USGA serious about equipment rollbacks, just start blabbering about how your equipment doesn't go straight enough on miss hits.. that should get the ball rolling on things🤦♂️
