I listened a few weeks back to Desus and Mero talking with Bill Simmons. he brought up to them conservative media is trying to say NYC is dying, taxes, blah, blah, blah. They both said the media has been saying this for decades about NYC, one time it was crack taking over, crime

SF was a fun & delightfully weird town for decades... until maybe 2005-ish. it is now the most expensive city with the worst quality of life--and ~5,000+ junkies using fentanyl in the street while @chesaboudin lets dealers operate in the open
