I don’t understand why there isn’t a big conservative backlash against the liberal policy machine of SF. The city has become a lost cause.

It’s easier to move than to change a city.

I’m not a Trump supporter or a fan of the hysterical left — I’m a fan of less government and the government staying out of our personal lives.

@Jason I spent 6mo in SF last year and no one could succiently and intelligently explain how/why it got this bad. Any good summaries you can share? I’ve lived all over the world - such a geographic beauty, such a cultural wasteland. Shame.

Doesn’t the mayor not have that much power in SF? Board of Supervisors is in power, why do we never talk about them?

As I often say to my friends - I used to be a liberal till I moved to the Bay Area. Not a trump supporter but horrible to see what has become.

That’s about on par with the number of people murdered in Philly this year which is even more terrifying since those are innocent lives vs people choosing to take drugs. The police chief claims it’s because people no longer respect the police. The mayor sued the state instead.
