So someone in the LAPD posted a photo of George Floyd on social media with the caption, “you take my breathe away” in a Valentine format.
Really? This doesn’t help the situation. I’m curious as to the division and rank of the person who made the post. Holla.

I’m really sick of this 💩 because it keeps tensions high on both sides. It does nothing to help ✌🏾community relations ✌🏾 and quote frankly I can’t tell from the group email if the post is really even a problem let alone discipline worthy. 🤔

There’s nothing in that email about not being racist—just keep it professional. Anyway, I appreciate the folks in the department who tell the folks not in the department what’s really going on. That’s transparency.

I haven’t seen the post but as many of you know, my sources have never ever failed me in the past—and I’ve never failed them.
I personally would not be surprised if it was posted to this IG account. And yes, I know about this account.

A member of the LAPD posted a photo of George Floyd online with the caption "you take my breath away," a department email says and a spokesperson confirmed to Patch.
"We are aware of that inappropriate post," said LAPD officer Rosario Cervantes.

Alright y'all, we're making some progress. I think this is the post that was shared by someone in the dept. The person who posted it doesn't appear to be a City employee but I know y'all will get to the bottom of it. This appears to be the original and it's racist AF.

I really hope this person is in no way connected with the City of Los Angeles as an employee civilian or sworn.
