To those who say are faking. You’re right, we are. Every day that we fight, we’re faking that we’re not breaking. Every time we smile & laugh we’re faking that we’re not in agony. Every time we distract ourselves we’re faking that we aren’t terrified.

Do “normal” people know what it is like to have a family member who is bed-bound? What it means to not be able to wash yourself, make yourself food, or enjoy the little things in life? ME/CFS can take all that from you. Why don’t we change that?

Everything is really important, until you get ill. Then you realise that there was only thing really, really important. Your health. Without health.....well, just imagine itfor a few minutes. Nothing matters but your health and people with M.E don’t have that

Millions of us are ‘living’ with and, despite our increasing numbers, nothing is being done to help us... Many of us have been missing from society decades, we feel ignored, forgotten, invisible. We want our lives back. Please fund research.

The suggestion that M.E. (a complex multi-system disease) is psychosomatic is the kind of b.s. that would get a student a failing grade. It’s weak dime-store psychology, passed off as medical fact, because many doctors lack the humility to say ‘I don’t know.’
