PhD thesis submission 🙏✔️. I would like to thank my supervisor Dr Paul Royall for his dedicated support and guidance. Dr Royall continuously provided encouragement and was always willing and enthusiastic to assist in any way he could throughout the research project.

Academia can drag you down because rejection is the norm, not the exception. You must celebrate every success, no matter how small. Set small goals and throw a mini-party for yourself when you meet them.

    1. I've been enjoying tweets & love the swell of professional pride in pharmacy colleagues responding to calculated provocations of a on TV. Rather than tweet about what we do, I wanted to delve into why he can say it and get away with it

I wonder if the latest events with This Morning have been enough to rouse our pharmacy community? Time to take a stand and actually say 'this is who we are!' I will not accept being walked over by the general public. Healthcare professional - not a doormat.

I have an idea: Let’s bring together people in the profession and we all put in a small fee. Setting up some sort of professional body that represents our views that can run a campaign like this. If we can get a royal endorsement that may add to the recognition of the body.

"admitting more students that can't cope". That's one way of looking at it🤔 Alternatively, could it (also) be that *universities* can't cope with the higher numbers (resources, inc SSR), and the increased need/urgency for more equitable curricula and L/T/A/F

Every time there’s a huge new target for students I ask “where will they sit?” and “how many new lavatories are we installing in the library?”, and everyone looks at me like I’m mad. This is just greed for money coupled with a total lack of common sense.
