Amazing how often I've heard this👇 broken empty slogan coming out of the mouths of people who were--in the deepities of their UNSPOKEN--actually jonesing for their OWN policy preferences while cutting off avenues of discussion.

The "morality is just biology" position never persuades me. If this were the case: 1. We wouldn't have created a distinction between biology and morality; 2. No moral system would seek to transcend human nature; and 3. We'd be motivated by morality, not self-interest.

Consider how dismayingly often, yesterday's MISINFORMATION becomes tomorrow's TRUTH. Doubly true if the media pounded "It's MISINFORMATION!" in unison. Doesn't mean that misinformation never percolates; it DOES mean that consensus can be wrong and over-certainty is dangerous.

While the other graphics/headlines are interesting, I had LONG suspected this WSJ stat. Apparently, only ~16% of people who identify as sufferers of "long COVID" test positive for either COVID-19 or COVID-19 antibodies. What could this mean?

This is laugh-out-loud funny. The lack of self-awareness is stunning.

Just like the examples in this article, celebrating that working class people are being fired over vaccine mandates is not my idea of progressivism Losing a job in America is a serious punishment and many of these people worked hard for many years...

President Biden said today we'd get back to normal when 97-98% of us were vaccinated. Harvard University is at nearly 100% and is going back to virtual classes.

Factual. One of the least-discussed, most highly influential phenomena in the modern USA is the "legacy preferences for affirmative action" trade between white and POC elites.

On Def. Sec. Austin's lack of judgment beyond getting Pres. Ghani & the Afghan troops miserably wrong, here's what he said about Biden in a hearing disproving Biden's claims that NO Generals recommended a troop presence: "I know the President to be an honest and forthright man."

You can be wise and smart, but there's no relationship between being smart and being wise - and there's no quick pathway from smart to wise. Here lies the arrogance of the intellect.

There were so many answers that would've served well. He chose the ONE ANSWER that devalued his OWN integrity. Sad that.
