Every news organization should stand by its peer CNN, stand up against Trump and stand for a free press and the first amendment by boycotting the impeached president’s lunch.

The need for election night results is driven by television programming. Did we need to know the results of the Iowa Caucus last night? No. But the networks play that crazy election night “Decision 2020” music and we must have a “winner.”

Trump, who savaged NFL players for kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police shootings of black Americans and led furious right wing condemnation of them, mocking the National Anthem. Don't hold your breath for conservative outrage.

Donald Trump’s disrespect for the flag would be shocking behavior for any other public figure. A city councilman would be driven from office. A country music star would lose her following. A preacher would lose his congregation. But what of this president?

How is it that they make the campaign season 300 years long but demand the vote be counted so quickly that it requires an app? Count the voters and add up the results on paper, you ding-dongs! The media can wait. Accuracy is more important than speed!

As I predicted. Bolton blew his one shot. Unless the manuscript leaks before the vote, he’s fucked and Trump will likely use Barr to put him in prison. just a reminder that knowing about grand strategy doesn’t mean you know about political strategy.

It is a sad day for America to see Senator McConnell humiliate the Chief Justice of the United States into presiding over a vote which rejected our nation’s judicial norms, precedents and institutions which uphold the Constitution and the rule of law.

Today caucus-goers in Iowa woke up to more than a dozen kids in cages all over the city of Des Moines. We came to remind people that this remains a reality & that the issue cannot be pushed under the rug. 🚨 this is a humanitarian crisis.🚨

On the left, an armed man entering a government building to exercise his right to peaceful protest. On the right, an armed man entering a government building to murder people. In all sincerity, how is any ordinary person supposed to know the difference & respond appropriately?

Lindsey Graham voted against witnesses and called the whole impeachment trial a "sham." He might not know what justice looks like, but I do. But Graham continues to outraise us, and we've got an uphill climb, so I need your help. DONATE NOW:

Here, interviewer Fareed Zakaria allows Jared Kushner to speak for almost 2 minutes straight, uninterrupted, & make multiple false claims (e.g. he claims Trump has "done all the things he promised" to do). There's no pushback, no real-time factcheck, from Zakaria, who just nods.

John, the Chief Justice did not decline. You voted to block my proposal. Why are you and Trump so afraid to allow an impartial judge to decide on requests for witnesses and documents? That’s how we conduct FAIR trials in America.

It’s enormously important that the country understand exactly what the President did. When he sought to coerce an ally into helping him cheat in the next election. And that he’s at it still. We have proved our case. The Senate should find him guilty, and remove him from office.

Alas, is wrong start to finish. Senate now is being asked to remove Trump from office. It’d take a second, separate, vote to disqualify him from running again in 2020. The Constitution is explicit. And this view would mean POTUS can cheat on reelection w/no conseq

My decision to run was an enormous act of optimism—a belief in what we could do together. A year later, I’m more optimistic than ever because I believe in the power of the grassroots movement. We will build the America of our future. This is our moment in history.

Trump has been president for three years now, and you can feel the fear across the country. We have a choice to make: Will we let the fear pull us back, or are we going to fight back? Me, I'm fighting back. Because fighting back is an act of patriotism.
