It has been an honor to serve on the Lincoln City Council and the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners. Now, I feel that my path is leading me to the Legislature, where I can bring my experience with local government to focus on state-level policies that impact us all.

The 108th Legislature was just sworn in by Chief Justice Heavican. I am truly honored to represent the people of District 28. Congratulations to my fellow members of the 2023 Class. #neleg

We have energized new voters across Nebraska looking at the numbers of ballots cast today and still coming in and all the early voting. And, tens of thousands of new Nebraskans are exercising their voice. We will build upon this and keep fighting.

This was a hard fought campaign. And we came up a little short this time around. But even in defeat, we have left a mark. We have moved the dial for our state.

I've been hearing reports of huge voter turnout all across the state today, and the final results could be decided by you in these last minutes. As long as you're in line before polls close, you'll be allowed to vote.

I hear there are tremendous numbers turning out today. I’m so grateful to the young people who have helped propel our campaign. Anyone out there a first-time voter today?! #nesen

We’ve come so incredibly far in this campaign. If you’re in line at 8pm, STAY IN LINE. If you haven’t turned in your mail-in ballot, get it to a drop box tonight. And if you’re helping call out the vote - KEEP GOING! We are incredibly close. #nesen

I went to the polls today, with my family by my side as they have been every step of the way, to cast a vote not for myself but for the thousands of Nebraskans at risk of losing their health care and the aging Nebraskans worried about the future of Social Security and Medicare.

Thank you to all who serve in the name of our nation's security. And a special thank you to the military families who sacrifice so much. Honored to walk in the Lincoln Veterans' Day Parade today. #NEsen
