In Senate hearing on For The People Act Sen Roy Blunt just opposed an amendment that would enable good samaritans to give water to voters stuck on line. He suggests the water could buy off their votes.

Perhaps they should consider measures that, I don't know, reduce the wait-time to vote - making the issue of requiring nourishment due to long wait-times moot. I know - I'm being a radical lefty.

hell of a hill to die on..giving water to people in line. But the idea that a voter would be swayed while in line based on who gives them hydration, I think is telling.

Voting s/b efficient. But, they know they’ll lose. Republicans continue to gaslight, in order to distract and avoid discussing real solutions. Find a way around them. Voters can bring refreshments, share or leave line to “buy”. Vendors remain 150’ away fr. poll /25’ voter line.
