You should have considered this when you initially designed your systems. The way your systems work, from what I can tell, basically just use some sort of machine learning to maximise variables considered relevant to revenue.

That’s a rather naive approach that leads to a lot of unintended consequences, one being expressions of hatred can drive engagement. Your technical teams, and technical teams more broadly, need to have a culture that considers human impact in initial decision making.

Your overall corporate culture also needs to place more impact on considering all consequences of actions, rather than just those that are immediately obvious; This is a major issue more generally.
