Gas is in no way a form of ‘climate action’. Expanding gas supply will fix none of the problems that those pushing such an expansion claim it will. The real solution: a rapid transition to renewables, leaving all fossil fuels in the ground.

We’re trapped in this political cycle of absolute farcical & damaging lunacy - where politicians are corrupt in plain sight - & every institution & process is being eroded by vested interests. How can this go on? HELP!

261 scientists have penned an open letter to the PM. “Australia has near-to the highest emissions per person of any country. We need to pull our weight in reducing our emissions. Any other policy is window dressing.”

Whales and other marine mammals use sound to find food, interact with mates, and navigate the vast ocean. Seismic blasting, used for offshore drilling and gas exploration, is an assault on our marine life.🐋

Where are the assurances from Govt. that the Great Artesian Basin will not be affected by opening up the Narrabri gasfields to coal seam gas extraction? If they have the science, we should ALL see it in plain language.

Echidna of the week ⭐️ ⭐️ This one here is a bushfire survivor 💪🏼 Sent in by Kylie on the 21st of January. One of the few spotted in the area after a bushfire. Great to see that our echidnas are popping up after the fires! Go you good thing! 😍
