I got your unsolicited text message last night. Stop! You know, I’d probably vote for you but you invaded my privacy with that text message, asking for money.
My apologies. The reality is, though, that if you want new ideas in Washington, a campaign has to raise money to get that message out to voters. Raising money is my least favorite part of being a candidate.

Political campaigns actually do have the right to do this per FTC spamming guidelines. They are considered non-commercial and protected under the First Amendment. If you reply STOP the campaigns should opt you out.
