I know lots of people that reckon they have had it more than once. Whether this is down to inaccurate testing or them just assuming I can't say

I've had it twice,9 months apart. symptoms both times too. Much lesser the 2nd time. Both confirmed by testing too. I think maybe to do with the varients? Delta seems to escape the vaccines more so maybe same for natural immunity ?

I don't question your experience ... most people come down with a respiratory illness every season. What I do question though (since the very beginning) is the testing!
