  3. Like, I had no idea how many of my elders had to hide money from their husbands or completely contort to their desires. These are outspoken, smart women. And they aren’t happy. A lot of young girls saw this growing up and want no parts

  4. As someone who wishes to settle down eventually, I am seeing how bad marriage has been to a LOT of women in my life and I understand why it lacks appeal to other ladies. It’s very rarely a partnership—women just don’t typically get back what they put in.

  5. But I do believe that my generation of Black moms (and a lot of Gen X moms before us) operate with a good blend of “Do you got McDonalds money” energy and super affectionate, healthy nurturing skills.

    I get what they think they are doing but this is gross and Biden ain’t it. The old guard also thought Hillary was the way over Obama. Don’t let these headlines affect you. Educate, agitate and organize. There is a long road to the nomination this is not a done deal.
