If other companies are smart, they find out what this Starbucks anti-discrimination curriculum is and look into pre-emptively implementing it. Don’t wait for an incident to occur. Also, the problem can’t be solved in an afternoon training. Use it as a step, not a salve.

Yes, this! Nothing can be fixed overnight and apologies aren't magical. But this is moving forward, and I'm hopeful it will grow in to a much needed tool for not only tolerance but real peace and healing.

I have been saying since I heard about this that this training needs to be refined and distributed. Start with the most notorious and harmful police departments coast to coast.

Starbucks coffee is a NEED not a WANT. They would have survived this disgrace in time without any action. THAT is what is so impressive about these country-wide diversity trainings. Thank you for taking responsibility Starbucks. May other companies follow your example.
