This is ridiculous, there was no "American" slavery in 1619 because there was no "USA". There was British, French, Spanish, Portuguese, & Dutch slavery on the North American continent, but that's not "American" for country purposes. "American" slavery begins in 1776.

It, also, ignores all the abolitionists that fought to end slavery. It ignores that the US ended slavery & made blacks whole citizens long before most industrialized countries. It ignores that many parts of the world still practice slavery. It does play the victim card to the max
