@Jamie4North is right to highlight the clear discrepancy and misunderstanding of the Equality Act.
#CaithnessSutherlandandEasterRoss has the Right to have its own MP, albeit he is ineffectual, attempt to represent their views within the HoC virtually given his carer duties!
This standing order means some MPs can now proxy vote but this privilege has not been extended to adult carers like me.
To exclude us speaks volumes about this Govt’s attitude to carers in general.

But will your presence there make any difference to your constituents? I think not. Politely I say stay with your nearest and dearest, its the right thing to do.

The constituents will have a different opinion; they voted in Jamie to be their voice in Parliament. The point here, is there is no need for this. This is JRM political posturing to secure backbench MPs to support Johnson. PM needs an audience to play to.
