The other week I was being told by Tories local elections are decided on local issues. Now I'm told result is a rejection of Brexit stance!

I've never said that (don't know who would say that). Elections are pretty much always decided on the national agenda.

I agree that national issues play a role, but locally Andrew and others were all saying a local by-election we had was about local issues

Also Andrew gloating and winding up leader of party you rely on locally to get anything passed on Council isn't a very smart move.

In the past 7 years nothing of our proposals have been passed at council mainly because your party has 95% voted with Labour.
