      I've never said that (don't know who would say that). Elections are pretty much always decided on the national agenda.

      I agree that national issues play a role, but locally Andrew and others were all saying a local by-election we had was about local issues

      It was a local by election which your candidate tried to fight on Britex. In that case before the calling of Gen Election it was about local

      Also Andrew gloating and winding up leader of party you rely on locally to get anything passed on Council isn't a very smart move.

      In the past 7 years nothing of our proposals have been passed at council mainly because your party has 95% voted with Labour.
