Last year the "total carbon price" was £24/tCO2, which #Budget2017 said was "at the right level"
This year it's £36/tCO2, which #Budget2018 will maintain (inc, more or less, in event of no-deal)
But might cut from 2021/22 if price "remains high".

Pretty disappointing for the EV world too. Thought we might have a counterweight to the PiVG cuts. Got nothing at all. Just confirmation of EVCP ECAs in place til 2023. Which is... erm... peripheral at best.
