I've been waiting for a generation to add a bunch of "aquatic"-PKMN that actually aren't Water types and live in a desert, substituting sand as their water environment.

IKR. Since we've already seen wormholes... Maybe some day a PKMN game could have a sci-fi space-opera setting. Exploring not a new region, but parts of different planets connected by portals 8D
