Wow! Was it hard to get a job as a designer at gamefreak? :O do they employ many foreigners?

I was Art Director on Pokemon Trozei and Pokemon Battle Revolution before I joined Game Freak, I think Sugimori san liked what I’d done. There’s a Canadian dude at GF too. We mostly talk Netflix recommendations.

Wow, that's incredible stuff man. As someone who's wanted to get into concept design, it's so cool seeing these thought processes. What's it like working at Gamefreak?

I really enjoy working at Game Freak. The work is fun and the people are cool. Also we have some pretty far out meeting rooms.

That's awesome. Out of curiosity, is it primarily japanese speaking people? Just curious about the demographic of employees there and how it all works.
