One thing I've always been wondering about with this art style, how do you decide where to interrupt the lines? Do you just randomly do so where it feels right or is there some kind of rule of thumb?
Really just where it feels right! Sometimes I put them on the top left of character’s heads, like the Kirbies here, because that’s where you’d expect a highlight
