I remember the N64 very well. My uncle got it for me and I played a lot of Mario and Wave Race.

I always imagined the joystick as an eye. As a kid I spent hours making the eye look all over the place and played with the controller as a toy almost as much as I played the N64 itself. Not sure if I should be embarrassed or not.
