I have to ask (if you know/can answer), These games were very different in terms of style, setting, mechanics... but they had memorable characters and music... so why didn't we see any kind of continuation or influence afterwards?

+ I promise you that a surprising amount of people still know Miror B. and his initial famous theme or the rugged region the story takes place in, or the battle themes in P:C and P:XD (especially the battle sim which had some pretty rockin music). But we never saw them again.
