The 30th anniversary of Game Freak reminded me of one of the earliest bits of work I did here - the Game Freak logo that appears at the start of Pokémon Black and White, which I concepted and animated.
It was a bit of pressure but a lot of fun!

This will always be my favorite Game Freak intro. It was so revolutionary during its time. Would’ve looked great on 3DS though back when it was new at the time
Yes, I think I made this with the 3DS in mind, I thought we’d use it on that hardware too...that’s why the star comes flying by so close and why the letters come flying towards the camera. Alas, we never put it on the 3DS.
