Howdy, as an aspiring Character/Creature Concept Artist, I was wondering about some of the requirements on getting a job designing pokemon and other creatures/characters in game freak? (This is also for my Uni work... sorry for bothering if I am... XD)
The main thing is to have a really good illustration portfolio. I wouldn’t recommend drawing Pokemon, but I would recommend drawing appealing characters of many different types. Hope that helps!
