If Minimum wage kept up with inflation, it would now be more than $22 an hour. Instead, companies can pay $7.25 an hour for 3 employees for that amount. This means companies get 3 times the production for that $22 rather than employees getting three times the wages.

Excellent point. Thank you for making it. Also, I'm living with Stage IV colon cancer, so feel you on that too. Might take a look at Jane McLelland's How To Starve Cancer book.

Unfortunately people with disabilities still wouldn't reap that benefit. It's still legal to pay them sub-minimum wages.

That also means 3 people have jobs rather than 1 person working and 2 on welfare. If we want wages to be comparable let’s try to stop spending money and inflating our dollar?

I’m a high school teacher and that’s about my hourly rate. But I only get paid for 8 hour days, 5 days a week. I usually work 10-12 and 1 day on the weekend.
