I was one of the people really saddened by the fact that he was only in as an assist trophy but, I’m really happy he’s in regardless and I’m glad you shed a new light on the situation~ It makes his appearance seem more welcoming! Thank you Jamesman!! 
It's extremely tiring, frankly. I was happy enough to see him as an assist trophy. He was kinda drifting off to playstation and xbox so they wouldn't really have needed to included him, but they did due to his significance in nintendo history. I'm happy enough.
I personally feel like he does better as an assist trophy he is kind of bad in smash fan games

I feel like I was the only one legitmately excited to see Bomberman, even if it was only an assit trophy. The series has been dead for eons, before 2017, so the fact that he has a new game AND he's in Smash, is a fucking blessing.
