In 1947, New York City vaccinated 5 million people against smallpox in two weeks. How can we be so much worse at this 75 years later?

We're not mobilized for a war, and covid isn't as bad as smallpox.

The reason Warp Speed has missed its mark by 90% isn't because ppl are refusing it. It's not getting distributed.https://www.tampabay.com/news/florida-politics/2020/12/17/desantis-says-florida-shipments-of-vaccines-are-on-hold-pfizer-disagrees/ …

No way. We spend so much more on public health today than we did in 1947.

Because the Trump regime doesn't care about its spread. It wipes out more non-whites than whites, and it's creating a permanent underclass economically which is just what these people want in pursuit of a Putin-style oligarchy. Again: they. Don't. Care. If. It. Spreads.

These vaccines do not prevent spread. They are not sterilizing vaccines, and do not stop person to person transmission. It’s dangerous for ppl not to know this, because it will decrease masking & distancing.
