Thanks to @rikkipoynter for catching that my latest video was missing captions, despite having them when it was released. (@TeamYouTube please look into this if it's a bug) Captions are back and live. Let me know if any other captions go missing

Does YouTube not automatically caption videos? Given everything they’ve announced over the last few years, it seems like that would be a really noble use of their ML tech. If not, any pro tips on adding them manually?

Automatic captions aren't captions and are inaccessible. Take a look at my channel and you'll find lots of info. It's what I do. :)
