I work in Westminster & the mood there is grim. No celebrations, just the usual parade of Union flags wilting in the grey drizzle. No humour, no pleasure, no crowds, nothing. The UK knows that brexit is a colossal mistake that is likely to break up the Union. #BrexitShambles

Yes, so sad. And the EU have handled so well - no bitter recriminations or character assassination. Tho I’m v grateful @donaldtusk has kindly reserved #ASpecialPlaceInHell for those who #LedTheLying.

The stark contrast of this classy response, the good nature of those that lead the EU compared to the Brexit rabble led by the odious Nigel Farage makes me want to weep. He and his cohorts are an absolute embarrassment. At least the EU won’t have to put with him anymore.

And it is not just the biggest of the rebels. It is our entire government that is equally bad really. The lies about EU they repeated, the poison spread into the nation , the lack of class and grace in them all. What a massive contrast these cultured and gracious EU leaders.

Wow. So gracious. I hope they know how much many of us want to stay.

The majority want to stay. Never forget the lies, cheating and money from questionable sources that enabled Brexit.

It really is heartening to see our friends seem to bear us no ill will for being subjected to a right wing coup they didn’t sto any more than we could.

And leaving the door slightly ajar for when we want to return. As we will.

Oh it makes me want to weep! It's like when your friend has dumped the most wonderful guy for some totally petty reason and he handles it with such grace and decency that he proves all over again why he was a keeper.
