Somebody (or multiple somebodies) has to save this thing. Too many people love Arclight. They can’t let the Dome go... right?
I’m gutted. The ArcLight has been an amazing support to cinema in LA. I’ll miss talking to the employees about their favorite films, which they had listed on their name tags. The theaters have been an integral part of so many key moments in my life, I’ll miss them forever.

Anything we can do? I've never been to either places but as a film and cinema fan, I recognize their absolute importance to cinema and would be willing to put my money where my mouth is in terms of fundraising?

Although I do appreciate new movies being available On Demand right now (all theatres in Canada are closed), I really miss seeing a movie in a theatre. It’s a visceral experience. In the dark, watching the giant image immersed in sound. There’s nothing like it.
