      @JamesGunn I have a question, we know that the first Guardians film takes place in the Andromeda Galaxy, but where does Vol 2 take place, Galaxy-wise? I’m curious to know if they have a general layout of the MCU’s universe somewhere or if even they don’t quite know where’s where.

      Yes I do worry about that. For me there’s a difference between truly meaningful deaths & plot twist deaths where someone seems to die & then hasn’t.       Do you ever worry that resurrections of the dead in stories or series take away the consequence or risk elements in the story? Gotham for instance, which I had some fun watching, was so regularly killing and resurrecting characters I really stopped caring about any of them.

      I'd argue it makes it more accurate to the comics - since when does any character really stay dead ? I love the new x-men run where the just built the whole resurrections idea into the story along with reboots being a consequence of death in a exotic location - super clever

          THANK YOU! This is the reason I actually took a break from Marvel and DC comics. (I still read their graphic novels though) Glad the movies don't do this. Also, good luck with Suicide Squad 2, I think you will make an amazing job

          THIS. I recall an X-Men comic where Psylocke is forced to stab Angel through the chest to stop him, she uses her telepathy so they can have a life together and it's a beautiful yet somber send-off for Angel... Then seconds later he's alive again and the moment's ruined.

          @JamesGunn It's happening to Star Wars now. With a plan to bring back Mace Windu too, they're at the point where there a literally no stakes for the characters. No one ever stays dead.
