As for the Guardians movies, I have had total freedom, other than being asked to include Thanos & create an origin for the stones in Vol 1. Yes I do worry about that. For me there’s a difference between truly meaningful deaths & plot twist deaths where someone seems to die & then hasn’t. I'd argue it makes it more accurate to the comics - since when does any character really stay dead ? I love the new x-men run where the just built the whole resurrections idea into the story along with reboots being a consequence of death in a exotic location - super clever
