It's more accurate to say basic human rights for pedophiles, which is not news. I haven't said and don't believe in pedophiles having a right to sex with children, for example.

Yes. You are now seeing that your empathy follows from how much other people remind to you of you. The less they are like you, the less important their well being is to you. That is very natural, but those are not the principles by which I want to live my life.

It doesn't matter it if pedophilia is pathologized. People with physical disabilities have pathologies, but it doesn't reduce their human rights one bit. Indeed, thinking of pedophilia as a sexual disability would go a long way both in reducing child abuse and to being humane.

What you are asking me is if I am willing to risk some of the privileges I have to help ensure other people get theirs. Yes, I am. It was because other people did that for me that I have my privileges in the first place.

Kate, I respect that more sincerely than anything else. You have nothing to be embarrassed about. Nobody can know everything. All we can do is keep a critical but open mind like you have, so that knowing everything becomes a matter of time.

isn't "promoting" pedophilia - trust me, we know that. He wants to remove risk factors for harmful behaviors. And that means talking to pedophiles and give them better ideas. A smart guy like you, who is against child molesters, should support a guy like him.

It's ok to be uncomfortable with MAPs, it's ok to block them and not want interaction due to trauma, stigma, whatever reason. It's not ok to harass MAPs and sent them threats.

I'm not bothered when transsexuals say things like "sex assigned at birth," because that arises from their emotional needs. I'm grossed out when academics parrot that lingo for the purpose of virtue-signalling and maintaining status among their tribe.
