Well I know it's cliche to say to you, but I do honestly love the naming in Fallen Order lol. I prefer games that use the lore of the world to name difficulty settings.

Not quite in the same vein, but specifically within the AI settings for Street Fighter, AI is classified numerically. I've found this is generally less frustrating for folks to discuss; rather than saying they were playing Arcade Mode on Easy, they'll mention they take on lvl 3s

It's weird; the Arcade Modes have easy, normal, and hard classifications (which I'm not a fan of personally), but then between rounds you choose between opponents with specific AI numbers associated. Wish it just let you pick a starting AI level, give options to increase/stay.

For per feature difficulty settings you could describe functionality differences e.g. Enemies: Docile, Formidable, Intimidating, Overwhelming/Aggressive Sidenote: I like Risk of Rain 2s initial difficulty (Drizzle, Rainstorm & Monsoon) they're nicely descriptive of an experience

Of course I'm blanking on specific titles right now but I really like games that use "story mode" because it's not instantly a name the angry people will bitch about. It nicely frames the difficulty as allowing you to better enjoy a great story.
