    “…but police didn’t stop them.” Why? Come to think of it — we all know WHY police didn’t stop them. This is the *new normal* now. Interdiction of anarchists and violent rioters guised as “protestors” no longer allowed. It will get worse — MUCH worse — before we course correct.

    A crowd of 100 people wreaked havoc in downtown Portland, Oregon – smashing storefront windows, lighting dumpsters on fire and causing at least $500,000 in damage – but police officers didn't stop them.

    Two years ago today — I was still a Law Enforcement Analyst for CNN — and I stumbled upon this CNN icon at Ted’s Montana Grill in Atlanta with my family, while in the ATL for a West Point-GSU game and an Atlanta Falcons game. God Bless Mr. Turner. Much respect as an ATLien!

    6 years ago today we lost our brother, hero PO Randolph Holder. He was a 5 year veteran of the NYPD whose life was tragically cut short when he was gunned down by a career criminal. Not a day goes by where we don’t think of his sacrifice. Rest easy brother.

    Joined on to discuss tragic case of kidnapped U.S. missionaries in Haiti. FBI has boots-on-the-ground to investigate this international kidnapping -- matters where FBI's jurisdiction dates back to mid-80s. I weigh in around 2:06 mark.

    The legislature still refuses to give judges in New York the power to hold somebody — who is a danger to the public. We entrust judges with so much, they must also have the discretion to keep people in jail.
