I left IG when it start getting crowded with influencials pretenders. There is something dark about 24/7 perfect lives. We should accept the ups and downs of live, but IG make us believe the opposite, and so we tend to believe there is something wrong with us, or with our lives.

Assuming I was a business...twitter/instagram ran an ad on my account presenting data that showed users of their platforms are more likely to make a purchase while using twitter/instagram .... so lower consumer esteem = $$$...makes sense.
