There are basically 5 ways to accumulate a billion dollars in America: 1) Profiting from a monopoly 2) Insider-trading 3) Political payoffs 4) Fraud 5) Inheritance None of these has anything to do with being successful in the supposed free market.
"1) Profiting from a monopoly" is hiding actions that many would see as legitimate (e.g. establishing a brand protected by copyrights). Would you suggest removing those to move closer to a "free market"?

Took me long enough to find someone recognizing this. Thank you! Abolish IP. Everything across the board. Ideas are not property. Stop forcing engineers to "reinvent the wheel" and add unnecessary costs. Prices will go down, and options and availability will go up.
