James this is beyond doubt. 1) My son asks me where is Singapore. I open google maps on laptop, in the suggested searches is Singapore. 2) I sing “Desert rose” in my car. 15 mins later I open Facebook on my phone, I see an ad for Desert Rose Massage Parlor
Given your experience in the industry and your professional knowledge, do you have very many apps on your phone, or do you generally shy away from them? Do you have a smart phone at all?
One question i have about this James, is how comes the audio data being transferred from the phone to a server has never been seen so far? At least, not as far as I know, from any popular app. Surely someone could see the data move from point A to point B at some stage?
True story: was watching shark tank last night. Afterwards I was receiving FB ads for a product pitched on the show. We're they listening? Did the satellite TV company transfer the data? Alexa in the room? Does it matter which? They're listening.
I'm a skeptic in general but I'm ABSOLUTELY convinced that among others the Facebook and Instagram apps listen to verbal conversations. I've witnessed it countless times on my own device. Wouldn't believe anyone who told me otherwise. Too many coincidences.

Lately on Windows I discovered the use of the context menu "paste as plain text". If you cut text and then paste it in Gougle to search it, the source URL is also pasted. I believe it's not the case with "paste as plain text".
