Amazon doesn't let you highlight a product's name in a mobile browser, preventing you from copy-pasting to comparison shop outside of Amazon. This is such a basic functionality, it's likely intentional.

This falls on the creepier side of "nudge" marketing imo. (I can highlight product names on my phone, but it's a Windows phone so that might have something to do with it (don't ask).)

I would expect it to be intentional - the app and website are designed to make it easier to buy stuff from Amazon, not as an online catalog for window shoppers. The app you are looking for is googl ... I mean bing.
