The same propaganda and private interests that lead to the Iraq war are now pushing for U.S. military involvement in Venezuela.https://www.truthdig.com/articles/a-call-to-halt-an-illegal-invasion-of-venezuela/ …

Why is it then that we're only interested in the crises in natural resource rich countries? Several advisors have made the U.S. economic interest in privatizing Venezuela's oil clear, e.g.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTE0SQA2jU8 …

In part because US foreign policy is not purely altruistic. Nor should it be. But the interest in Venezuela is not only, or even predominately economic. It is more about depreciating hostile powers in the strategically important Caribbean sea.

Because successful transition to democracy through military intervention is very difficult, expensive, and requires a spectrum of competent stakeholders.

Again: I am against military solution. But this crises have nothing to with oil. And this clip has A LOT of accusations and none evidences. I will tell you this: come here to Brazil and go to the Venezuelan border. Como to see what is happening with your own eyes.

I did notice CNN is putting on well known regime supporters like Asa Cusack to "explain" Venezuela to its audience. I imagine Damore May be sourcing what he knows from that type of fake media.

Thousands of people are leaving every day. Who is supposed to provide for these people that are displaced by the self destructive policies enforced by the Maduro regime? Where should they go and who should shoulder the burden?

James, Cuba has oil and VZ socialism was propped up by oil sales. You're totally out of your depth here.

US has been living off Serbian oil for the last 20 years... or all that oil we're getting from Korea and Vietnam.
