You make a valid point. Some crimes should result in permanent loss of voting rights. Others not so much.

Not all felons are the same. I think there should be a route to enfranchisement. Also, murderers tend to get life in prison or the death penalty, so even if we granted all felons the right to vote, the number of convicted murderers voting would be very small.

I like your work but disagree on this. Felonies are serious crimes and being convicted of crimes of that nature show a serious lack of judgment which doesn't help better a nation that is based on the rule of laws. There is a process to regain voter rights.
