do you think that phrase/mindset has helped us continue as a species, coming from prehistoric times when keeping women and children alive was priority to keep humanity from going extinct? i worry about derailing certain things that may be backbone to humanity / society
Yes, I think this was likely useful in our past, but we can probably do without it in a world with 7 billion people (or at least acknowledge that no gender is uniquely "privileged" over another)
