Yes, I think this was likely useful in our past, but we can probably do without it in a world with 7 billion people (or at least acknowledge that no gender is uniquely "privileged" over another)
well said James. One must ignore a lot to not see that some women are immensely privileged and many white straight males are born into enduring lack of opportunity. Some think the 'right' benefit when the 'left' ignore that. I agree.
If only there were some sociological framework that sought to combat these gender-distributed archetypes & that has the historical clout in defeating systemic inequality among men & women. If only this framework weren't vilified by clueless egotistical dirtbags like James Damore
