Kobe Bryant was a giant who inspired, amazed, and thrilled people everywhere with his incomparable skill on the court — and awed us with his intellect and humility as a father, husband, creative genius, and ambassador for the game he loved.

A few weeks ago in Newport Beach Kobe witnessed a major accident and stayed to comfort victims and redirect traffic until help arrived. This man wasn’t only the GOAT on the court but as a human being as well. Mamba Mentality Forever.

Friendly reminder as new accommodations are granted this semester: your colleagues may also be disabled, and receive workplace accommodations. Being understanding about student accommodations sends the message that people with disabilities are welcome—as students and colleagues.

I spent a whole lot of 2019 talking with people on probation in Pennsylvania, a system that would've made Kafka say, "Whoa, guys, that's messed up." In case you missed it, here's what you need to know. In a thread. 1/

Me: I wish our bathroom was wheelchair accessible Coworker: it isn't? I thoght it was big enough. Me: yeah, the inside is great! Problem is it's a heavy door and there's no button to open it. For a lot of people that means they won't be able to get in or out without help.

Here--a draft of a possible ERA that embodies an intersectional prism. I won't say it's light reading but it is food for thought in integrating what we want into what we are against, a task increasingly challenging in the midst of today's dismantling of equal rights.
